My Flowerhorn’s 3 weeks development

Hi Friends,

3 weeks passed since I have acquired my little friend. This is my first Flowerhon experience because I have kept goldfish for 10 years. I am not experienced about Flowerhorn and I do not know my flowerhorn’s subtype such as Zz, kamfa, Red dragon etc etc.. Some experienced friends here in this forum informed me about its subtype and the main opinion is the fish is a kamfa and Zz hybrid. Besides this, I am also not sure about its gender/sex. I am not sure if I could understand when I will make an anus-vent check.

Please evaluate its 3 weeks development and also if possible please make estimations about its gender.
You may compare the 3 weeks ago photo and the other 3 photos that were taken yesterday.

Looks good. Another trick to stimulate its growth and kok is to put a mirror in the tank or divide it with another male or female. It will stimulate its hormones and I do this with 1-2" flowerhorn and they start popping kok and then I sell them.

Regarding sex I would be more inclined to think it's a male. I've had females who looked better than my males lol
