well it was very hard to tell from that all over the place video hahah but for sure male! Two reasons, one the very hard to see at first kok bump starting to grow on him, and two do to the aggression level. Females can be agressive but not like that

you got me an idea bro.. speedy gonzales.. LOL, but i think speedy will do.. thanks alot..!! i hope hes really a male, i got already 1 female hir who layed eggs last week, i hope this little "speedy" is a male!!

danm right. It's a male. I bet on it.
easy...females almost always have black demarkations on the dorsal fin (the top fin) whereas a males dorsal fin is usually plain white. furthermore, the colour of females become rich and vibrant when they are fertile or about the lay eggs. they possess a shorter and stouter body. hope this helps u. good luck
