No its not another poll ;) I figure as this little guy/gal ages I will find out if it truly is a trimac. I have no doubts with the breeder/seller so I'm going with trimac unless it becomes obvious otherwise. Still no name for him/her. So this is not a debate about what it is, just a show of progression.

Good looking fish yet I would question the species simply because of so many fluorescent markings.I have 4 Amphilophus Trimaculatus's and their that deep greenish-gold coloration with the red throats.The females will show a very noticeable black spot on the dorsal fin if its a Trimac.

Mine doesn't show that thats why I suspect male but you never know.

I should be going there in a week, its like 2 hours away. I would rather ask in person than on the phone. I might also email them.
