my flowerhorn wont eat food

hi i have a flower horn that wont eat the flakes i give my other fish wat do flower horns eat if u can please write bak

Try pellet....might just be what he's used to. Either way if he goes a good week w/out food it shouldn't kill him and he'll start eating flake or whatever. Tell him to have a nice warm glass of shut the he11 up and like it!!

Try feeding normal cichlid pellets. You can also try beefheart.

Crickets can entice even the most picky eaters to eat. Eventually getting your flowerhorn to accept a variety will ensure it will try anything.

I think I read on here about some1 wrapping pellets in ham to get there fish to eat.

i bought a FL last week and it started eating straight away. I've been feeding it Tetra Colorbits and Hikari Gold sinking pellets. Did you get it from a LFS? If so ask them what they have been feeding it.
