My FlowerHorn wont eat pellets! Help pls!! T_T

Hi MF keepers,

I had a new flowerhorn recently and it just wont eat dry pellets.

This FH is my dad bought for me and i heard from him that the aquarim was feeding him with frog/ toads initally.

I tried attempting for not feeding him for two days, he still shows no sign of interests for the pellets. (he would just swim to the top *look what is it* then swim away)

I tried dried prawns, he also doesnt eat it.

Then i give up and fed him Blood Worm, initally he doesnt eat, then slowly he starts to eat and fond of it till now..

But i would like to feed him the dry pellets as when i got them they were quite expensive.

Help pls T_T!!

around how long?

cos i tried 2 days before..

So i just try and strave him again? (

fish can go without food for WEEKS so 2 days aint no thang. dont feed it anything else and just drop a pellet a day untill it eats, gota practice tough love.

thanks alot for your advice, my FH is eating healthily with pellets, shrimps, green peas and bloodworms..
