Equipment

- Fluval Roma 125l tank
- Tetratec EX1200 Filter with Eheim Power diffuser for aeration.
- Fluval heater
- Bogwood, various plants, Strawberry pot for hiding, cocohut, rocks etc.

Stocking

- 1 x Angelfish
- 1 x Large Congo tetra
- 2 x Small Kribensis
- 8 x Cherry barbs
- 4 x Neon tetras
- 1 x Green cobra guppy
- 2 x Sunset platys
- 3 x Apple snails

Now my water parameters are fine, no issues with fish and its all going well. Setup for appx 5 months now.
The EX1200 filter was recently added last week as i was worried about my stocking.

What are your thoughts about my stocking, is this too much?

Regards

Rob

Congrats, it's a very nice looking setup you got there. Only thing I would try to do is perhaps hide the heater in the back behind some decoration and perhaps move the thermometer to one side or the other. I don't think it's over stocked but I would be the wrong person to ask about that.

The thermometer & heater could definitely be better hidden, but the heater should be closer to the filter input or output anyway to keep the heat more consistent. Other than that, I just can't believe how well your plants are doing with all that aeration. Seems like your CO2 levels should be a bit low by now...

Thanks guys, the eheim diffuser has only been in for a couple of days, and its only really to replace the tetratec spray bar which i thought was a bit ugly. It squirts in a tiny bit of air.
However i forgot to mention the air pump. Which is on its lowest setting but is still quite strong, i may remove this now.

As for the heater, good suggestion. That's where its always been so i just forgot about it but ill move it this evening as it is an eye sore.

Any suggestions about over stocking?

Rob
