Wow, is that it's permanant home? Doesn't it need a pond or something? I couldn't bear to keep a turtle in this condition. I caught a very similar looking turtle today and let it go because it would have been kept just like this one. (My daugter was crying cause she wanted him for a pet.) Sorry to sound negative but it's just not fair to the turtle.

agreed with the others. the problem with this site is that if the water is clean...they think it is "humane". tank size and stimulation are just as important.
