VERY NICE!!!!! MOST IMPRESSIVE!!!!

How often are you dosing??? Did you use soil and flourish plugs???

Usually a nutrient problem or imbalance. Different algae like different nutrients. A google search should give you an idea of what nutrient may be causing the problem. And beautiful tank by the way, that peacock cichlid looks amazing against all those plants

That is a really nice tank.

Golcondorus seems to know more about the specific cause than me, but have you replaced the lights recently? Sometimes old lights promote algae growth.

As an aside, while I agree that the peacocks look great but I'd totally load that thing up with really cool looking shrimp and small awesome community fish myself. Like, you could spend hours looking at one tiny section of it! So much going on, so much opportunity for activity!

Thank you guys I cannot get to the bottom of it. I have been dosing a little lighter and more irregularly than when I started with the dry ferts and I didn't have this issue when I started. I am going to go back to my original schedule. I also removed a light and changed my schedule to 7 hours rather than 8. I am going to do 2 25% WC per week for a couple weeks and check the results.

...waiting for aquatic fan to see this and rain some wisdom. But he's prob going to ask if you're running co2, and if so, how much? I see a lot of people with planted tanks have algae problems. A lot of times it's because they are high light tanks, which also requires high co2. Otherwise the algae will take advantage of the high lighting and excess nutrients before your leafy plants can.
