My fresh livefood system.....

This is where i keep the Procambarus clarkii i feed my ray every week. I gutload them with Ocean Nutrition Shak Formula, Hikari Massivore Delite, regular fish food, snails and some fish. I buy them in my local supermarket (they´re sold as food) in groups of 20 each time so i keep them for a month or so.

Those crayfish look big. How do your rays handle them?

Question, Do you guys take off the pincers on the crayfish before feeding them to your rays? I might go get some in the summer from a local pond for my rays.

I do, i offer them with no pincers.....safety. My MM male is like 40cm DW.
