My Friend's Unfiltered Tanks

He never used filters on any of his tanks. No regular WCs, relies on rain. Rain pours down from roof through imrovised downspouts into tanks. No rain equals green water and zero visibility. Yet his fishes are still alive, he's had casualties but not that much. Could be because he has hardy fishes? Will upload more vids next time.

Depends on the fish. Does he have any plants? Just cause the fish is living doesn't always mean their healthy.
