Ok I have 1 fry that seems to have lockjaw. He cant shut his mouth, just like my sister. lol. But seriously. I dont know what I can do to help him/her! It is a Geoghagus Eartheater, I think the sci. name is Brasilini(sp). One friend said I could try and massage his jaw, but in the process he would 99% get squished, hes only about 3/8"!. I think he is eating, because I noticed this around 3 days ago. I dont even know if it is possible for a fry not to eat in three days, which makes me think he is eating.

You guys got any info on what to do? Help me please! :(

dont cull fry. i have a jewel cichlid that was a result of my breeding project, and he/she is tail-less. this fish is now one of my favourites. Go Defects!!!!

I dont know if I could kill a fry. Is there something I can do to nurse him back to health? I wouldnt like to kill him, but if it really comes to it I will feed him to my oscar. But I really would not like to do that.

I say let it go, if it is eating let it be.

don't feed him to the oscar... every fish deserves a fighting chance. only flush when all hope is lost....

Some fry are just born with defects and unfortunately he should probably be culled.
yeh i think its better to cull him now rather than him suffering?
