i'll be getting a new 210 gallon tank hopefully next month. do you think these fishes wud be fine in ther -
2 golden red tail catfish (sun catfish)
1 tiger oscar
1 albino oscar
1 red oscar
1 channel catfish
1 albino channel catfish
1 peacock eel
1 black ghost knife
1 common plecostomus

and i also want to kno if i can breed two types of oscar together. like....albino with tiger or red with albino?
if there's anything i need to take out, pls give an alternative maybe?
any suggestion to make this tank better are invited.

I agree. Skip the channels. They'll definitely outgrow the 210. You might be able to get a few pictus cats or something instead, but I would just leave the bottom to the sun cats and also have a lighter bioload

add 1 more Oscar...three's a bad number for "O's". but agreed with the top of me.

You should be able to breed any of the mentioned oscars together as they are the same species (Astronotus ocellatus). There are other species of oscars but they are hard to come by. I also agree with the stocking suggestions mentioned.

O is for oscar. O is also for overstocked.

No channels. Pleco will get huge 22"+ and crap a ton. Be careful when adding fish in- be sure they're a compatible size and won't outgrow each other too quickly. (ie oscar eats eel)

thx. i didnt get any channels but i added 5 pictus in ther. they all r doing fine and i didnt hav any prob with them eating each other. they r too small so i guess they r gonna be fine

Go with 2 Oscars or 4. If you have 3 then two will pick on the smallest one. 2 Oscars is a pretty big gamble as well but doable if the Oscars are right and the conditions are ideal. 4 or more would be best but if you go with 4 or 5 Oscars I wouldn't really add any other fish to a 210 gallon tank. 4 Oscars in one tank would be awesome though when they reach adult size

i moved to a new house after a couple months i had the 210. i lost most of the fish i had, broke the side of the tank because the guys who helped me move were idiots....i gave up on fish keeping for a while (the whole effin deal cost me a bunch of money) but now starting all over again with a couple 20 gallon(gift from a friend) and my new 55 gallon (still have my male salvini)
