My FW Yellowtail Cuda

Yeah, very unique neon-like colors. I like the spattering of green/yellow down his side, the fish looks almost translucent, too. Kinda odd looking nose/snout, almost looks broken, but I don't have a clue as to what it's supposed to look like. What's the size like on that guy, around 12" in the pic? How big do they get?

he's about 12inches .. that bass was actually smaller 9inches i think.

Looks good - coloration and snout very normal for Falcirostris, I see it everyday. Sure doesn't look 12" in relation to the XP canister inlet and the bubble wand tubing.
Mine looks pretty much the exact same, but his tail doesn't have the pinched ends... They're just rounded. Plus my cuda is only about 5" and has been that big for about 6 months. Think I just have a different species?
