My fx6 doesn't drain...

What is the proper procedure to drain the fx6 from the bottom valve? mine lets out a bit of water then stop...

help anyone?

1) Unplug the filter
2) Close the IN and OUT valves
3) Hook up drain hose to purge valve
4) Open purge valve
5) Disconnect IN valve from canister lid
Water should drain from filter.

There might be a clog or blockage of some kind.

As above if you pull one of the connections of the top of the filter it will drain.
Mine do the same it's just a vacuum
