I have been with my GATF since 9th March 2016 when he was still 3.5". I would like to share some update of him and i hope this will contribute to the community. When he just got inside the tank:

KNH KNH Thank you. Yes bro they are in different tanks. I really wish i could move the GATF in with the VATF (the tank with the white sand). Is it possible to mix them? From what i have read it is not possible to mix only two ATF in one tank.

nice fish

Do update your GATF from time to time. It looks thick for the size. Great grooming.

Red Aimara Red Aimara Glad that you love him! Will update his growth :)

Dear friends, does anyone know who the Mod in this forum is as i need to change the date i obtained the GATF from April to March. I don't want this misinformation to confuse the community.
Sorry for the noob question.

I think it's possible to mix the 2 in a large tank but lots of cases of vatf being aggressive towards gatf so it's probably best you keep them apart.

KNH KNH from my observation the VATF i own is not agressive and even sometimes bullied by the peacock basses, or it might be that the VATF has not completely settled yet? i agree with you that normally the VATF would end up killing the GATF. I would experiment with the mix as soon as my GATF reach the 8" mark. Hope the strong current in my tank helps to prevent fights.
