So I bought 3 german blue rams a month or so ago. Maybe month and a half ago. Within a week 2 had paired up and stay side by side 98% of the time. The other is a loner so I had planned on buyin a couple more and see if that helps. So a day or so ago the pair bred, laid eggs right in the middle of the tank. A book I have on them said they were open spawners but I figured they'd do it in one of the caves or hidden. When they say open spawner they really mean OPEN spawner lol. I dunno how many eggs are there but there's a lot. I have videos and pics but I only use my cell phone not a computer. Ill have to upload the videos to youtube but the pics I dunno how to upload with my phone. I can email them and text them that's bout it. I could email them and someone can upload for me. That'd be great! I will also be doing a water test on the paremiters (spelling) to see what they r like. May help for future breeding? I know my water wasn't ideal for them when I got them. It was more of a african cichlid setup but they have thrived, had beautiful color, and now laid eggs! I also talked to a lfs today and there interested in buying them so that helps. I didn't know wtf I was gonna do with them. I'm keeping 3 or so for myself tho so I don't have to buy ne more. Keep you all posted! -verruckt
