My GF's blood parrot wont swallow its food.

It just keeps spitting it out. It want to eat it and it's wicked hungry but it just keeps spitting out the flakes I give it. I also throw shrimp pellets in and blood worms but I dont stick around long enough to see if it spits those out too. Can someone let me know what to do before this fish dies and I have to hear it from her. Please lol.

i've seen my flowerhorn chewing and spitting it out... but ends up eating it later in smaller pieces.. maybe thats what the BPs doing.. for how long hasnt it eaten now??
have u checked the water conditions??

my bps did that all the time, they were healthy as heck! I think they will be fine and are getting some food ingested before they spit the load.
