here is an update on my Gorillus male, "Gorillus Prime" at 8" and his possible female at 5.5" I havent done a video on him yet so here ya go;) plus a few pics too lol. He has darkened up immensly since i have added the female. He has one of the greatest personalities of all the umbees i have kept, but he is a lil camera shy;) Im not sure if the other is a female yet, but from the vent and color im going with female. I didnt plan on keeping a pair of gorillus so i could have room for my MagX project but i might have room now;) anyway i hope everyone enjoys.

DAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! That boy is a tank and has developed nicely! Go Gorillus Blue. He is catching up to HELLSCREAM fast! :WHOA: Also thats a female forsure :) UMBEE POWERRRR!

He is beautiful Jason!! All of mine look like your suspected female still. Not showing really any color...but the largest ones are only 4"

Hang tight Mike! The dominate males wont start to turn until 5.5 - 6inches. First the anal fin will grow long and pointed then a light greenish blue sheen will appear underneath the eye and nares region and a dead give away its a male is a strong metallic blue color will form on the upper operculum. I haven't seen any female Gorillus blue with it yet And from that point on the black arrives :) Heres an updated picture of HELLSCREAM. If you look back at my first post on this guy his color wasn't in like it is now. The bigger this fish gets the more his adult coloration came in :)

Mine are the same. My biggest one, assuming male is right around 4.5-5" and look like Jason's female.

Nice pair, Jason! He's a tank for sure!
