OK its been a lil while since i updated on these guys and i finally got good shots after trying for a month...You can really see the reds in his top fins and he has nice blues and yellows and oranges. This is the male and he hasnt grown much so im just gonna say hes 5 inches

Here is his female shes much darker now then when i got her and she is still pretty skiddish but mean as hell..

How do you differ the male and female? The reason I ask is they both look like females to me.
To my limited knowledge, males have red dots under the lateral line and females do not.

They were sold to me as male and female from Dan at COA. the red dots is the way io know how to sex them
 
I suspected them to be both females but they look very different in person but until the female gets bigger idk. Either way they are awesome
