Here he is, all fixed up and healthy. I got him as a beat up fish no one wanted for free from Petsmart. I fed him a steady diet of Hikari cichlid gold pellets and it's really put some size on him and brought his colors out. Let me know what you think...

I think really well done!

Really cool that you bought a "damaged" fish and managed to bring him back to looking like this. Most people (myself included) tend to look for the healthiest best looking guy n the the shop.

nice fish bro. I have a similar story, got 2 green sunfish from a stunted golf course pond and am currently raising back to life.
 
I have mine eating the same thing, mine is 1.5 inchs long
 
When i switched to live foods like mealworms and bloodworms my sunfish started to grow a lot faster then he did on pellets, and he became real fat!
Do you feed him worms allready?
