I've had my 150 gal up for over a year now. The tank has been redone a million times over but my stock has stayed the same. All of my fish were bought at about 3 inches. In my tank are: green terror, red terror, Jaguar, and a flowerhorn. The green terror has outgrown all of my other fish and is at about 8 inches now. The jag is about 7" and the festae and flowerhorn are at about 5.5-6. I've noticed that all of my fish have some marks on them. Except one. My green terror is absolutely terrorizing (hehe get it) my tank and all of his fins are perfect and it seems that nobody has put up a decent fight to deter him. How do I stop the aggression?

I'm surprised your GT has grown faster than a flowerhorn, usually it would be the other way around. The other fish in your tank all get larger and (usually) more aggressive than the GT, I would expect in due time once he has been surpassed in size, he may be overtaken as ruler of the tank. In the mean time, what is the aquascaping like? I would make sure the other fish have ample hiding spots and breaks in line of sight. Dither fish like some large Buenos aires tetras can help as well, to give the GT something else to chase.

Green terrors are mean fish but do not compare to the other fish in the tank, I'd be more worried for the green terror to be honest. They can turn on him real quick just have hiding spots for weaker fish to get away

The tanks pretty open, just some wood... It was a planted tank but was just too much to take care of. I am honestly super surprised that this group of fish turned out how it did. I for sure thought the gt would've been the most docile fish. Oh well. What other fish make good dithers?

I wouldn't add anything, that tank is going to be overstocked once the fish grow. Cichlids focus on other cichlids more so than other fish. Dithers only really work with breeding pairs who are defending eggs/fry. Once the others grow, the tables will turn. Some people have had luck using convicts, but if you get a breeding pair, the others will be in trouble.

All you have to do is alter millions of years of genetic evolution.

Come on, Man! You knowingly put together a tank of aggressive species, and you're surprised by an outcome of aggression?

I'm also surprised that the green terror had the fastest growth rate.

I would be a bit concerned about the growth rates of the other fish, over a year and he is saying his jag has grown 4 inches, fh and feastae 3 inchs, even if there all females I would expect more then that.

So would I.
The tank is overstocked and without a vigorous water change routine the fish will not grow at normal rate.

Unless your GT is a wild strain, I would expect it too grow slowest and be the least aggressive. Do you have rivulatus or stalbergi GT.
