my green terror is about 4" and all it will eat is flakes ones in awhile it will take a pellet but that's it he was in with a larger Oscar that hoarderd all the food so I don't know if it is still scared or what,i even tried raw shrimp wich my 2" texas cichlid tore up but the gt showed no interest what do you guys suggest am I just being impatient?

Try starving him a little bit. After a few days with no food, the pellets will be looking much better. Fresh garlic can also help stimulate the appetite, if you take a clove mash it up and roll the pellets in it a bit before dropping them in that may help.

he has been in the tank about 2 monthes he was with a 5 " Oscar and now he is with a texas cichlid that is smaller
yes,today he took some shrimp he just seems so scared like the Oscar is still there punking him out
well he finally took some pellets today,pretty funny the smaller texas cichlid ignores his pellets and trys to take the bigger pellets
