I'm so upset i dont really know where to begin.... I'm posting this here as its 50% an arowan in question and i want it to remain in the ancient fish section rather than be moved to natives. so you see where i'm going?
It all started about 3am sat morn... i returned from being out on the lash to find one of the bowfin with a big graze down one side? odd i thought as the tank is now empty part from fish so nothing to bump, so i watch, sat there bout 30mins gazing before i must of KO'd....
Then i wake out 1pm, (heavy night as we were out for my gf's birthday).i woke to a thud, as my bowfin wacked against the tank wall, right snap to it Nath somethings clearly messing wu=ith the bowfin! my the time i could see straight, the Greenie had circled and was making another pass at the bowfin, who by this time was mashed... i suck my arm straight in a pushd the aro off, defending the bowfin with tank divider while i prepared a Q tank for bowfin.... Then poly box for greenie... rang my mate who fell in love with the green a couple of days before... do you want it? Yeap sorted, he came and grabbed it... to be fair im devastated that i sold it but after what it did to the bowfin it was that or i would or done something horrible to it.... so bye bye greenie...
now fast forward to an hour ago, i walked in to find the bowfin in Q tank, on his back, not breathing.... i dont really no what to say, ive spent a hour crying and felling like a complete idiot... most of you no what the bowfin ment to me.... im devastated and prob will be for a good while! Its a completely irraplaceable fish here and ive just significantly droped the uk population... well done me....
