Hi guys, I have a 77 gallon grow-out tank for future monsters. The length is 46 inches, width is 22 inches, and 18 inches for the height.

Occupants:

1 - Giant Gourami (3 inch)
1 - Albino Bristlenose Pleco (2.5 inch)

I'm still thinking of adding some more of course. Help me out guys. Possible tank mates?

BTW..I'm not into cichlids for now. :D

thanks! I'll be posting some pictures later.

first i want to know how big will be your main tank? before suggesting possible tank mates.

Forgive me for my late reply. Here are some pictures of my tank and my Giant Gourami named Gee.

Sorry for the blurred shot. Yesterday, I placed a single Black Molly in my tank. When I woke up this morning, the molly was already dead due to Gee's wrath. Gee is an inch difference from the molly. What fish particularly do I need to add into my tank as Gee's companion?

get a cat of some sort. not as a tank mate for "Gee" but as a fish to occupy the bottom of the tank, as for tank mate for "Gee" i would say that someone else would need to help you as i am far from expert on middle dwellers if you will. or expert on anything by far lol, i just know stuff;)

Go for some Aba aba. :) You live in the Philies so you could build a big enough tank, and keep it outside year round. They are great fish if you have the space. :) Might should keep it solo though!

Yes, I've been thinking of adding a bottom occupant. A bichir, catfish or a fire eel. Maybe any of the three that may fit my budget. Fire eel here in our country seems to get low in numbers. Bichirs are spreading too fast here and so as some common cats like the titanous RTC and TSN. Arrg, those cats can swallow "Gee" anytime of the day. What about Clown Loaches?

Unfortunately, there are no juvy Aba Aba available here in the Phils. Monstrous sizes cost too much.

Yes.... what are you "growing out" to?

Oh yes, forgot to mention it. A 400 gals tank is my plan.
