have they breed yet?

Arent you afraid of them eating each other???

The destructor pair breed about amonth ago. I did not realize how sensitive the female was to stress, so when I did a water change she dropped all the eggs. I will breed them again soon. The cherax tenuimanus pair is acually a cherax cainii pair (smooth marron). I think they may be a little small to breed. I will try them this summer. Both pairs have their own tanks. I keep them divided from each other when they are close to molting or I am not home much. I am not much worried about the destructors eating each other as the cainii. They are mean. I learned my lesson the first time I poked one of them.

My smooth marron pair is currently six inches. They will get over a foot in lenght. the destructor pair right now is three inches. They wiill get a very solid eight inches. I will be tempted in the future to try the non blue destructor babies with some butter.
