My gt has lost color

Seems like my 3" or so green terror has lost color the older it gets. Please don't say iv been waiting months for a female lol first pic is now second pic is two months ago.

Hard to tell at that size, but I'm guessing female. I've found white sand tends to wash out their colours as well. Try a darker substrate and you should see more colour.
 
Have you put the GT in a tank with other GT's or other more aggressive fish?

If so then the change in colour can be due to the fish being sub dominant. I've seen this before when growing them out from fry. The largest most dominant fry had the brightest colour and thickest seam on its fin. When I moved them into a larger tank with other fish his colour faded and and orange on the tail faded. Both pics look female to me but can't be 100% sure.
 
I still think you have a male here. I would guess that the ever-growing Oscar is becoming a threat/stressor, and the GT is therefore losing color. Maybe try removing the O and see if there are any improvements.
