So, I have roughly 8 fishes in my tank. Everything from GT JD Convicts and Firemouths. All I feed all of them are chiclids sinking pellets. So far everyone loves it.

For some odd reason the GT will eat it and then spit it back out or in some cases all the fishes will bundle up close together on top of the tank when it's feeding time and the GT will swim the other way from the pack.

Any reasons?

Tank size? Number of fish (Roughly 8? Count them), How many of each species? Fish sizes?
Food brand and type?
What else is in their diet?
How long have you had the fish?
Is there much aggression in the tank?
How long has he/she been doing this?
Does any of his other behavioral characteristics indicate anything else could be wrong with him?
Have you tested your water parameters? pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate?

If it's taking food but not eating all of it, try a different brand of food. Hikari, New Life Spectrum, Tetra, Omega-One, a good brand, don't cheap out.
