Yeah that's pretty much all these ever are. Either the Pleco gets the eggs or the Polys get the fry. Seems to work out okay.

how much do 1" GTs sell in ur LFS? u could put then in a grow out tank till 1" inch

That's what I'd like to do but right now I'm limited to one tank. When I buy a house hopefully later this year, then this lovely couple will get their own tank. For now, survival of the fittest really.
