what can I give his as live food other than goldfish he wont take frozen he like his food moving and he wont eat anything under 2 inches and he is only 4.5 inches

have you tried thawing your frozen food before feeding it? i usually leave my frozen prawns at room temperature for about an hour. so it becomes defrosted and stinky, and once the prawns hit the water, my gulpers start going nuts for them.
if you wish to feed them live food, im sure anything you put in there, above 2 - 5 inches, will end up as food. they are not very choosy.
i've stopped feeding mine live, my female gulper ate a 6'' sun catfish once and the dorsal fin pierced its belly.

I am suprised my 2 gulpers used to eat absolutely anything that went in the tank, they even tried to eat non food items if it would go in their mouths.
We dont really feed live feeders in the UK. Mine always ate thawed frozen foods.

Don't feed for him few days, get him really hungry and then start introducing the food that you want him to be eating. He will eat anything when he is hungry enough. Mine use to eat air stones... I was like, okay, okay, I'll feed you!
