My Haitiensis wont quit

I have been downsizing my collection lately in preparation for installing new floors in my house.I tried moving my favorites together but sometimes it is just not possible.I tried putting my hait with both of my big male jags but they just fight.I ended up moving my 6 inch trimac in with my hait because it was the only thing left i could try.I knew my hate would end up breeding with my trimac if I left it that way for too long,but this is rediculous.Only 7 days in the tank together and their is about 300 eggs on a rock!MY hait breeds with anything but I thought it would take longer than a week.

sucks, though. what you gonna do? pull the eggs and feed them to your other fish? wait and see how they turn out?

I kept a few from one of the times he mated with my devil one looked exactly like what a lfs was calling a koi flowerhorn.Whatever.I will probably grow them out to see what they look like.Most will probably be butt ugly though.We will see.

hell, if your lfs sells "koi flowerhorns", and people buy them, maybe they'll give you cash or at least credit for them.
