sometime within the last 24 hours someone broke into my car and stole the stereo.

i've had this car for less than three weeks.

i come back to work from vacation to all heck breaking loose at work, and i've got a headache i've had for three days now...

*sigh*

sorry, does anyone have a little cheese for my whine?

Sorry to hear that...I have had it happen to me and it is so annoying. However things can be worse....

Someone in work recently had their car stolen . It was missing for a couple of days when the police found it undamaged. The police called him up and told him the location and to go and collect it. Unfortunately between the time of phone call and him arriving at the location someone else managed to steal it. It was then found by the police the next day burnt out.

Someone else in work also had a strange experience when working beside a motorway. He pulled up on the hard shoulder and had to walk just over the embankment to collect a soil sample. Came back over the embanlment and his car was gone. So he was left stranded and started walking up the motorway hardshoulder (a pedestrian free zone). The police passed and pulled over but took a lot of convincing as to the reason for him walking alongside a motorway.

I find the problem with going on holiday is that when you get back to work you end up with a huge pile of work that has accumulated while your away. You then get stressed out trying to clear it all. Sort of defeats the whole object of taking the holiday in the first place which rapidly fades into a dim and distant memory within 5 minutes of walking back in the office!!!!!!! Sounds like a stress headache you suffering from the neck...Ibubofen usually helps with that kind of headache.

Hope things look a bit more :) soon. Keep you chin up :)

Cheers

Indeed. As one of the Jesuits that I work with would say, "all things shall pass."

Take an Ibuprofen, relax, and grind it out. I had a similar thing happen to my car before, but not with a stereo (first was with the driver side rear light assembly, which costed $2,500 to replace and now I'm trying to source out a passenger side blinker assembly b/c someone clipped it off when they took the light :-( ).

man, that sucks. sorry to hear of your misfortune. i've had it happen to me twice. the first time they just ripped everything out. didn't cut anything. they also destroyed the keyhole on my driver side and ended up bending the top of the door and getting in that way somehow. the worst part was i got in my car, was bummed - went to start it... and got a fire where the stereo went. there was a hot wire touching a ground. the second time they just broke my window out while i was in the movie theatre. -.- it sucks. i wanted to find them and ..... in my parking garage next to my apartment building... my present car - i have to take the centercaps off my rims because kids keep stealing my VW emblems. they even used a screwdriver and pryed the one off my trunk that the key goes through. sigh - the best thing to do is have Melissa fill your car with snakes.
