I got 3 new fish. Heros severus. We are starting to think that one of the three is actually not a severus, but an Heros sp. casiquiare which lives in the same area as the severus.

Heros Notatus had some babies again. This is their second viable batch. They ate all but about 15 of their first batch before a took the fry out.

Two of the severus have started to pair off in the last week.

Any good way youve found to tell the sexes apart besides vent? Doesnt seem to be much difference appearance wise in severums.
