At the moment, I only have my 3 turtles, but I'm in the process of getting rid of the rest of my fish and fish stuff and really getting back into herps, so there will be a lot more pictures to come in the next few months.

First is my peninsula cooter. He's about 10 years old and I've had him since he was the size of a quarter. When I first got him, I really didn't know what I was doing, so he had a couple years of sub-par care and is small for his age, but he's doing great now.

I've also got a yellow bellied slider. He's about 9 years old I think and also small for his age, but has turned around with proper care just like the cooter
Here he is when I first got him:

and now (has always been really shy)

Then I've got a stinkpot that I'd guess is less than 2 years old. I've had him almost a year after a friend gave him to me (he was very lethargic, my friend wanted to see if I could do anything to save him. He just wasn't being kept warm enough and turned around for me in a couple hours and has done great since). My (now ex-) girlfriend named him Norbert

Cool turtles.

Thanks guys
Great turtles :) I have a similar situation with my RES as your cooter, I didn't know what I was doing when I first got her, and shes 14yrs old now and only 6".
Yeah, he's around 7-8" but I think he'll get up to 10 or maybe a little more. I'm glad I didn't get a female. They can get up around 16". I lucked out having all 3 of my turtles be male (not that it matters for Norbert, all stinkpots are pretty small)

Have to say that "Norbert" is a fantastic name for a stinkpot :D

Best,
Paul
Haha, thanks Paul. I do think it fits. He has a lot of personality too

These guys aren't herps, but they moved into my reptile room today (not much of a reptile room yet though considering it's only roaches, mealworms, and crabs so far haha). These are 4 of my 5 Caribbean land hermit crabs (with 5, it's pretty common to have at least 1 hiding somewhere molting or something. This was the first time in a while I've seen 4 at once).

I just saw a post on craigslist today giving away 6 crabs and a cage for free, so if they haven't been taken yet, I might soon have 11
