Hey so i thought to myself it would be cool to have something at night , like some sort of blue light / moonlight. so i surfed around abit and made my
own! What i used was :

Revoltec cathode twin set lights. ( made for PC modding)
A 12v Netadapter
and a Power switch to combine the both and make it easy for me to turn it off / on when i want too.
All of this stuff is pretty cheap . first i cut the cables on both the adapter and the tubes and put them both in the Power switch 2 on each side ( 4 cables) then i basicly mounted them next too my normal light tubes with some sort of plastic thing with a sticky on it and some stripes .

Anyway heres how it looks , didnt take alot of pics when doing it never came to mind. im not 100% satisifed with how much light it is but due to the short cables i couldnt position them where i wanted , but anyway it was fairly cheap and easy to make ur own ! this pics was taking during the day and its hard to get good pics on it but im sure it will look nicer on the night!

Great Idea.

Indeed. Excellent idea.

Cool I need a moonlight on my catfish tank ! It has one of those hydor blue led's that blows bubbles but it focuses upwards not downwards its kind of like a volcano. Id much rather have some moonlight action from above.

There's a poster who sells those for parts and the shipping cost. Sealed wiring and all. It's a great idea, and they work very well.
