My HRP pair is breeding right now as i am typeing this... it look's like there about a dozen or of eggs.

Nice looking pair....What is it, their first spawn????A dozen eggs only means this is their first or second spawn together or they need to be fed a little more variety.........Try giving them some krill, brine shrimp, and small mealworms.....Spread it once a day from each group I mentioned.......But remember, stick the fish to a staple everday/everynight feed.....I like the HIKARI color enchancing pellets........

I really never had a problem with batches being eaten by the parents.......Most likely they will get the drift by the third spawn...........
