Just started a new 55 gallon tank...Started fine ...but things aren't going so well....Started off with gourami's from petsmart ...starter fish was an oplaine (sp?) ...then later ..after a couple of weeks..i put in a gold, blue and two pink kissers...the oplaine was agressive at first...and so was one of the kissers...but now...they are kind of cool..the gold on got nipped up..either while in the bag ..(petsmart put all four of them in one bag...they should not have done that..why? did they do that!) or at petsmart..The gold one..lost his lil' atennas on the bottom..they are shorter..like nubs ( will they grow back?)
Now i am starting to see the effects of "ick"...they are rubbing up against the tubes and filter spout..really hard...from time to time. I hate that, i am going to get the med.
To top it off...even though i soaked my driftwood...it has still tinted the water brown...done water changes..it got better ..a little.
