Oh kick ass, I've had them less than a weeks and they just paired up. The biggest male and female paired, I have two other juvies in their as well. They are currently swimming around and defending a plastic hollow log I have in their. I'll try to get pics of them in a little bit. Very exiting

It's always exciting when you get fish to spawn... especially after a week of ownership! Congrats! Get a growout tank if you plan on keeping the fry, otherwise those little tetras are gonna have a snack! :) Good luck.

Congrats dude! there are a few of us on here that have pairs!
they are extremely good parents but tend to have small broods. mine had about 40, and I managed to save roughly 15-20 of them that are growing out now.

good luck with the pair and keep us updated!

I'll keep you updated, once they lay eggs I'll start a thread about the whole thing. Their still swimming around courting each other, swimming around a few decorations. I'm hoping they are evaluating them for nesting sites.

i just fed my HRP fry and they are really cool, theyre starting to swim at all levels of the tank right now. mine bred within 2 weeks of me buying them. once my female laid eggs inside a cave I didnt see her for like a week, and when I did she had fry with her, so if the female dissapears then that means she might be guarding eggs somewhere you cant see

Yeah that probablly will happen, i put all these nice secure
Laying sites in their. They will probablly chose some place weird though lol. Or at least, some place I think is wierd
