My huge featherfin

I have two featherfin catfish and they are quite a character not a true monster fish but still very interesting. I also have callichtys callichtys catfish and six raphael catfish too!

Is it the angle or is he really that stubby? Also, his snout appears unusually blunt too - characteristic of the controversial Synodontis galinae (not recognized as a species by all). Still good-looking though.

I've had ten of them or so and never had problems but some report they can be a "monster", not in size but in behavior :) http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=34931&hilit=+eupterus

His face is really blunt and he's really thick but the angle makes it look a little more short and fat. I moved it to another tank with some smaller cichlids and he's turned into a terror now so I see what you mean. Thank you for the comments. I was never into catfish but after seeing what this guy looks like now and going through all the other cat pics on here I've changed my mind
