in person they're actually quite nice, no one is really sure what they are, many say they're a beani cross, others say its a dovii cross.....honestly what if its a Beani X Dovii cross? the male has the honey comb pattern of a beani and the female gets the dark mask in her face and halfway up her body, but they have that other part that just says something else.

wow in the pics the male looks barely bigger then her but trust me his at least 2" taller about 2" longer too, and his teeth are bigger lol

do you guys think most of the eggs are white due to fungus or the male didnt do a good job fertilizing them?

well most of the eggs were unfertilized, but the ones that were good eventually got fungus due to the female not picking off the bad eggs

Sorry to hear they didn't make it but sometimes it takes several tries to get it right. Especially with first time parents....

Off topic sorta....
How does the cinderblock effect the water quality? I've been told concrete is no good when it comes to fish tanks. That it leaches toxic chemicals into the water...
Have I been mislead? Just curious
Thanks
Good luck!
