my id my fish thread

Since I have a few tanks up I often take in fish that I really dont know what they are sometimes I do sometimes I don't, it is for these times that I wanted to start this thread.

I will use this thread to post pics of the various fish as I get them, your help in id would be greatly appreciated.

This week a person who I gave some fish before was shutting down his tank and I bought all his fish for 20 bucks, most of them common but there is this oscar that dont look normal in its colors.

and there is what seems like a mated pair of some kind, the smaller one is less vibrant and the big one has a sheen that my camera washes out and their verticle stripes are red not black, or at least I think they are male female since they seem to exhibit the same behaviour as my other mated pairs

just wondering if anyone can id this pair

never seen stripes that are red verticle only black but this back one has vibrant red and blue coloring

and the ramshorn snail got a whooping so I think its dead or playing dead waiting to see

The Oscar looks like a wild caught Oscar or a regular old fashion original Oscar... very nice
