my idea for 29 gal.

I just finished making a stand for a 29 gal. for my daughter, and I need fish ideas. My first idea was a pair of electric blue cichlids. How many, and what do I need to know before I get em if thats what I decide?

Do you mean electric Blue jack dempsey? if so no..

I would go with something like 2 bolivian or german rams. They look awesome. Oh and make sure the tank is cycled first.

domasoni are real nice they stay sm med breed easy and babies get good trades at lfs. with my kids sailfin mollies were a hit live births you know

Are you talking the Electric Blue ahlis? If so a male and 2 or 3 females would be ok in a 29. Just make sure he doesn't rough the girls up too much.
