Looking at my current tank recently I decided it's time to upgrade in the near future.

Current: 36G bowfront 1.5 years old.
Striped Rafael cat 4"
Albino Sengal Bichir 5"
2- Tiger barbs 2-3"
2- Yoyo loaches 3"
1- Eclipse cat 3"
1- Common Couple

The Bichir and the catfish are by far my favorite fish to keep so I want to build a tank (acrylic) that suits their needs best.
5'x4'x2.5' That should be 370+gal. with a big footprint.

Filtration will be DIY and sufficient for good water quality, I'll save my plans for another thread later.

Sock list so far:
Striped Rafael cat
Albino Sengal Bichir
2- Yoyo loaches
Eclipse cat
Bristlenose Plec
Polypterus Delhezi
Asian Upsidedown Catfish
Spotted Rafael cat
Giant Rafael catfish (is 370g big enough? I doubt it but those guys look awesome)

Mid to top dwellers:
Asian Arowana(s) 2 at most
or
Gars (1-3 florida or longnoses)
or
Native Texas bluegills

I don't think any of those 3 would Co-exist.

Any of the bottom dwellers I want to have the ability to have 2-3 depending.
I want a lower stock ratio than I have now and no fish that will outgrow the tank.
As far as structures and hiding places I will be doing a 3D background on one end and the rest of the tank a maze of
different caves of varying sizes. Every fish should have no problem finding a "spot".

My questions are this.
Will that stock list fill up a 370?
Any issues to be expected between the species?

Thank you
-Parker

Going from a 36g to 370g is a pretty big step. You may find that a pretty difficult thing if you have no experience with large tanks.

yeah seriously thats a HUGE leap and your planning on making the tank yourself? i remember i was going to do that too untill i realized for a 150 gallon tank it would cost 600 bucks for the glass alone and im pretty sure acrylic is more expensive so it would be cheaper and easyer to just buy one
