have three baby indos.. bout two inches one is a lil bigger than the other two. and the bigger one bullies the other two around.. the smaller two stay in their spots all day until i feed then they all go nuts. on the other hand the bigger one swims around and doesnt really hide, really active, but if any of the smaller two come out of their spots he chases them and bites them until they go back to their spots.

is this normal dat behavior? and will this chasing and so forth end up with any casualties? how long will this behavior continue?

get a few more or separate them

Trust me a few more wont stop the fighting. When I had 16 baby Indos they same few fought continuously regardless. IME the fighting isnt more then harmless chases and wouldnt even result in torn fins. I say let them be, just give the lesser aggro ones plenty of hiding spots and all should be fine. If you start to see some damage then Id start planning on seperating.

mine do the same, just chase each other and no torn fins

dont worry mine do the same thing. just think of it this way, its like little kids running after each other but no harm is done =)

i have 15 baby indo dats ranging from 1"-2" and they all chase each other constantly. they have been going at it ever since ive gotten them. im sure they would stop chasing each other after they have grown into a mature stage. my 3 5-6" NTT dont do any play like the indos do. they just mind their business.
