I saw someone dropped off a 7" Red Devil because it killed every thing in the previous tank, they told someone that it was full grown and it would live in a 30 gal..

I overheard someone else asking if GSP needed salt and they were told no, they are freshwater fish and cannot live with marine salt..

While speaking with one of the employees and shooting the bull, he mentioned that they had two 5" pacus that he regretted selling to a lady who put them in her 20g tank and they got spooked and broke the side of the tank. Needless to say she brought them back.

All in all it was another interesting trip to the LFS :grinno:

Pacus are classified under the Aquarium Hobby term--->"TANKBUSTERS"........The Mantis SHrimp is another known TANKBUSTER......This shrimp is the is known to break the side glass with a force created by snapping its claws together....It is literally a sonic boom.....

I allways thought that was bull just another fish myth.

I would not think the sound it could make could do that .

the things u hear in a lfs. it never amazes me how ill informed they are.

It makes sense that most LFS are bad. After all they are getting the best employs minimum wage can buy. I loved work at the LFS when I was going to school, but eventually I needed to make some money.
