Yay me!!! Well, I was at my favorite pet store. This guy wanted to return his Jack Dempsey and some African Cichlid, they were killing all his community fish. The store just got a shipment and they couldn't take the fish back from him. He had waited over a month to return them... Any way he was getting upset, so I was thinking "Why not?"

I asked "I buy him for $5"

He said "Sure man!"

And so I have myself a JD

Around my area I'd say about $20-25. I had a giant, stunner of a JD that I traded in to my LFS and they sold it for $30.

7, and I bet he's a 8 once he gets settled in, and a 9 after a few months of TLC. I dig the rescue. 25$ sounds about right, 5$ is a steal. Awesome man.

I've had him for a while. He's pretty settled in. lol 7 is pretty darn good for a $5 fish though.

Although I did do a lot of reorganizing today so perhaps that why he's not as pretty?
