I was just rearanging my tank for the tank of the month contest and my Jaguar bit me. He was looking at my hand and i moved my hand towards him and he swam away. I than started to move something in "His Pit" and he bit me!!! IM SO PROUD

lol aw he gave you a love bite! did he draw blood? a few of my fish especialy my 13 inch red tex loves to draw blood. hes a meanie!
No but i wish he did that would have been so cool haha. Its like 1:00 where i live and my family is asleep and when the jag bit me it scared the bajeezuz out of me and i yelled really loud. The jags teeth arent very exposed right now cuz sometimes i can see the two bottom "fangs" but right now i cant. If they were exposed it probably would have drawn blood.
mines a wimp with me, i think it knows the hand that feeds him, couple of my other fish take pops at me when im cleaning the tank but my wierd jag trys to sit in my hand when i put my hand in there for any reason. My other one is only small and already has an attitude problem and has to be housed alone but the bigger one who is just over 8inches trys to feed out my hand, rubs itself on my hand never had any fish do that, especially a fish that is suppose to be terrotorial, freaked me out the first time it happened and checked all my water parameters to make sure it was ok, guess i landed a sensitive jag lol, il have to get some footage of it when i get a camera
Haha ive got a vid on youtube of me petting my flowerhorn but it also likes to bite my hand. It doesnt hurt but its funny to watch as he tastes my hand.
yeah its a strange experience but iv got to say its made that jag my favorite by a mile, very personable fish. what size is your jag? Looks like if it carries on biting your going to have to clean the tank with a devider or net in it, i had to do that with my old grammode
