I have a 7" Jardini Arowana that I have had for 4 days in my 70gallon tall. He is very skittish and the first day I put him in my tank he scraped off 2 scales on my driftwood. I took out that driftwood but will his scales grow back?

Yes,with time.. I dont know about the rest of the forum but I would add stresscoat

yo man my jardini is 2 1/2 years has been chomped on has smashed his face into the glass so hard he bleed ripped out so manny scales I couldent count somtimes huge scrapes 10-20 scales had been riped out of him in a single outburst crazy fish!

but he is %100 heathy and strong still has hid barbels (the only real thing a jardini wont grow back) exsept maby an eye
I find that jardini's like to have much more space than other fish (1inch per gal) more like ( 10-15 gal per inch) they will relax and stop hurting themselves also any tunnels in your driftwoos need large entrances and exits so your fish don't get pined in and FREEK OUT

Thats awesome i thought he was going to look like that forever. I hope to move him to a bigger tank soon. My driftwood is a solid piece and is about 25 pounds out of water.

Just keep the water quality excellent so he doesn't get any kind of fungus and his scales should grow back soon.
