So I bought a 3-4" baby Jardini yesterday for $55, and when I put her in the quarantine she first thing he did was start beating on the Clown Knife. However, when I first witnessed this, I saw the CK charging at the Jar, so I put a divider on the tank and put the Knife alone on one side.

However, while doing a water change a few minutes ago, I noticed the Tiger Oscar's top back fins were shredded. So now the Jardini is on the other side of the divider all by himself.

What can I do to make him less aggressive towards other fish? Or is there nothing to do? He's still young, is there hope?

LOL, sounds like yours is starting young. Not much you can do.

Why are there other fish in the quarentine tank?

NOOOO! I had plans, major plans, grosse Pläne! Arowana heaven! That won't work with a nasty little sh*thead Jar!

Clown Knife, Two Oscars, and a Common Pleco. Taking the CK out today.

well you got the ******* of the bunch usually start at 8 inchs.

Welcome to owning a Jar.. Sometimes you get a ok one and sometimes you get a real pain in the a.. that needs a tank to himself..

Sounds like it's just being a jardini:)

lucily its not 8+ inch it would kill them, get a silver arowana lol

She's tiny and she beats up a CK twice her size!

Well, I've never had the heart to return fish. I just LOVE fish.

What if I put the Jar in a tank full of plants? Maybe even lilies so the roots can hang down and create natural territory borders? Do they respect those borders?

They respect borders if the territory is large enough. As the fish grows the territory will as well.
