I think it's time for my JD to go to fish heaven, few weeks ago he started losing his color and then last week all of a sudden he started going sideways, and now he's not able to get off the bottom of the tank so he is just lying there on the bottom of the tank paralyzed...he still appears alert and is eating however...I've had him for at least 5 years without any health problems at all. Anyone else have fish die of old age? Do they usually go this way? I'm deciding now if I should put him down now or just let him keep going until he stops eating completely...
