Ever since he bred for the second time and the fry died he hasnt really ben eating or comming out. He is kinda dull. Has always been the boss of the tank and now he doesnt come out. After the first batch were killed he was fine. Whats wrong? Stress?

How long has he been acting like this? It sounds crazy, but your JD might be dissapointed or something about losing the fry. My cons kinda act like what you are describing after I remove a batch of fry, so now I leave a couple in the tank with them

.He could very well be mourning about his fry. Fish have feelings, too. He could also just be tired.
maybe he's sick. i doubt emotions are at play here... probably stressed or tired from rearing fry.
i highy dpubt hes sick. Water params are tip top. I did a water change last week and i put a UV sterolizer on 5 days ago and the water is nearly crystal clear.
